2026 CHILDHOOD CANCER WARRIOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE WILLIAM!

“William graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate.

When William was only four years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia and began a long and difficult journey of treatment. After a relapse, he received a bone marrow transplant in December 2017 from his little brother, Justin. With the incredible care of his medical team and the love and support of family and friends, William bravely fought through every challenge, including graft-versus-host disease, and recovered with remarkable strength.

William is a true fighter who has defeated leukemia twice. Through it all, he has never stopped pushing himself to grow stronger—both in body and mind. He has excelled as a speed skater, soccer player, Rubik’s cube enthusiast, and piano player, proving that determination and passion can overcome even the toughest obstacles.

Academically, William has also achieved outstanding success and will begin the next chapter of his journey at the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.

William, we are endlessly proud of your courage, resilience, and kindness. You have already overcome more than most people face in a lifetime, and yet you continue to dream bigger and work harder. As you step into this new chapter, always believe in yourself and never stop chasing your dreams.
