Meet Drake. “Drake was diagnosed with neuroblastoma stage 4S at 4 months old. He is graduated from R.D. Parker Collegiate in Thompson. He has been accepted into the Trent-Swansea Dual Law and Media Studies Program. He is also in the process of joining the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves. Meet Braeden. “Braeden was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in July 2019 when he was 14 years old (9 days before his 15th birthday). He missed the entire first semester of grade 10 due to his treatments. When he returned to school in Feb 2020 he attended classes for 6 weeks before school shut down due to the Pandemic. Braeden’s goal was to graduate with his friends in 2022. He took extra classes and worked hard in all his classes to achieve his goal. Braeden is graduat

“Our daughter Destiny is a cancer warrior and survivor, and is now graduating from SRSS (Steinbach Regional Secondary School). We are excited and proud of our amazing warrior. Destiny was diagnosed in 2018 at the age of 14 years of age, with Hodgkins Lymphoma, stage 2. Destiny fought the hard fight and came out shining. She plans to become an RCMP officer or work in K9 unit. Her other option she is thinking of, is to start her own business. She has a positive outlook and

Meet Teddy. “Teddy was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma when he was 15 years old. Partway through his treatment the Pandemic hit, causing him to miss almost 2 years of High School. Teddy persevered, and his hard work paid off. He graduated from Gray Academy and will be entering the Faculty of Education at the University of Winnipeg in the fall.” Congratulations Teddy! 2022 HONORARY GRAD CHLOE
As we get ready to celebrate our 2022 childhood cancer survivor high school graduates, we also want to pay tribute to the children who didn’t get a chance to graduate. Chloe is our first HONORARY GRADUATE. She would have graduated from Aquinas High School and had dreams of becoming a lawyer, specifically working with people with disabilities and/or social justice issues. We would love nothing more than to have seen Chloe live out this dream. Today we celebrate you, Chloe. Y
