10 days after Josh’s 3rd birthday he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with treatments being completed a few months after his 6th birthday. Our family is forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses and everyone that cared for Josh at CancerCare Manitoba and the Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg throughout Josh’s treatment journey. We are also thankful to Manitoba Candlelighters and the connections and friendships that we made and all the love and support throughout the years!
We are so extremely proud of the kind, compassionate and confident young man that Josh is and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for him. We hope the world is ready for him but we do know that the world is a much better place because of him!
