MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING THE COVID OUTBREAK!!

When your child is diagnosed with cancer, it’s incredibly scary. There are so many fears. I can’t even imagine adding Covid to that yet. The Candlelighters board decided that we needed to do something with the outbreak currently happening on the children’s cancer ward. These families need to isolate (some for 12 days) and can’t leave their rooms for food. The children get their meals, but there is currently only a bag lunch provided for the parent. For the next few weeks, we will be purchasing hot dinners every day for each parent/caregiver on the ward. They have enough to worry about. They don’t need to worry about food yet too. ♥️.
